Movies are dreams that you never forget.

Much like Kenneth Branagh's recent movie Belfast, Spielberg's The Fabelmans (12A TBC) pulls inspiration from the life of its director and co-writer. Like Spielberg once was, his young protagonist Sammy Fabelman is a Jewish boy who finds magic at the cinema.

Growing up in post-World War II era Arizona, Sammy falls in love with movies after his parents take him to see "The Greatest Show on Earth." Armed with a camera, Sammy starts to make his own films at home, much to the delight of his supportive mother (played by Michelle Williams). But he discovers a shattering family secret and explores how the power of films can help him see the truth.
